OVERVIEW
During the pandemic, Evolved By Nature (EBN) wanted to help healthcare workers by making our own hand sanitizer and donating it to local hospitals in the Boston area. After months of donating, we decided to sell the hand sanitizer online. The project was to add an online store to the current EBN website. Below is the process.
The process
The first thing I wanted to do was adjust the main navigation and add SHOP as the store. I would also add the magnifying glass as the SEARCH icon and a simple icon for the CART. The Shop would have a mega-menu feature that would appear when you hovered over it and it would include a photo for each category. The categories were Hand Sanitizer, Hand Soap, and Hand Cream. We sold variants within each category.
For mobile:
I wanted to have the menu appear fullscreen and SHOP would be at the bottom. When the user taps on SHOP it slides over to the next screen that shows the category sections.
